The dedication was part of a Black Alumni Celebration weekend designed to highlight the establishment of the University’s academic programs focused on the experiences and contributions of people of African descent.

New Jersey business publication NJBIZ recognized 50 education leaders across the state who "play an absolutely critical role in fashioning the business leaders of tomorrow."

Among our strengths in this area: More than half of the University's senior administrators are women; we offer a degree in women's & gender studies; and our Center for Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship and Innovation provides a program tailored to women.

The Class of 2028 includes students from 18 counties in New Jersey, 13 states, and 17 countries. This includes a 25.6 percent increase in new international students.

“All of our faculty and staff are motivated by a common mission of helping our students succeed and that, coupled with our emphasis on professional development and career growth, makes for a very rewarding professional environment,” says President Helldobler.

New Jersey Lt. Governor Tahesha Way encouraged college and university students across NJ to register and commit to vote during a celebration at WP that included New York Giants players Kayvon Thibodeaux and Bobby Okereke.

The University's "Real Men Read" program—conceptualized by Curriculum Materials Librarian Neil Grimes—puts male faculty, staff, and students in area schools' classrooms to read to children, aiming to foster value of reading in young boys.
