“We appreciate this new round of State support for William Paterson’s ongoing efforts to address food insecurity among our students,” says President Richard J. Helldobler, noting how our Pioneer Pantry has continually expanded since its founding in 2017.
The honorees are: Idida Rodriguez ’86, WP Board of Trustees member; Rafael Cuellar, WP Foundation Board member; and Roy Garcia ’99, WP assistant vice president of alumni engagement and philanthropy.
A delegation of NJ representatives joined the trip, including our VP for Enrollment Management George Kacenga and Associate Vice President for Government Relations Carol Cuadrado.
“Through this partnership, athletes have strengthened key skills including goal setting, positive self-talk, relaxation techniques, and effective communication with both teammates and coaches,” says Head Athletic Trainer Alison Moquin.
Charlap has been nominated for his album with vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater, Elemental, in the Best Jazz Vocal Album category. This marks Charlap’s fifth career Grammy nomination. In 2016, he took home the award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for his collaboration with the late Tony Bennett.
The University's teachers-in-training will bring reading support directly to students at Paterson Public School No. 21 through a generous gift from the O'Shea Family Foundation.
Recognized for its undergraduate program in music and entertainment industries, William Paterson is one of only three New Jersey institutions on the list. This is the eighth time WP has appeared on the list.
