Professors Carrie Hong (Educational Leadership and Professional Studies), Maria Tajes (Spanish), and Gladys Vega (Bilingual Education/ESL) applied for and are executing the five-year grant. It provides scholarships to pre-service and in-service teachers pursuing certification in bilingual education, as well as professional development to preschool teachers in partner NJ school districts.
