HIPC: Income & Employment Findings

In case you missed it, on November 2, 2023 the Hamilton Immigration Partnership Council (HIPC) released the results of Hamilton's first-ever Immigrant Survey which had close to 700 respondents!

Findings from the survey revealed that income inadequacy and underemployment were major issues facing participants, with substantial differences across participant groups by immigration

category, length of time in Canada, and racialized status. Our employment infographic showcases some key findings. Does the data surprise you?

Check out our Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) @HIPCHamilton each Wednesday as we showcase different research findings from our survey. Don’t have time to read our full report? That’s ok! We created a Summary Report that provides an overview of key information. To learn more, visit hamiltonimmigration.ca.

How age diversity helps organizations unlock knowledge retention

Retaining knowledge within the workforce and supporting age diversity is essential for economic productivity both now and into the future.
