August Book Boxes!

Get a chill from these horror and thriller picks! There's still time to sign up for the summer reading club! Get the chance to earn prizes for reading the books you enjoy.

Book Boxes allow you the chance to read a library book you may not have picked yourself. For each month our librarians have selected a theme and will put books across all genres into these boxes that follow our theme. Participants will still need to check out the book like they would any other library materials and loan periods still apply. No registration is required, first come first served
**This is a virtual program**

Join us virtually as members of Clean Ocean Action explain to us “Pointless Pollution.” This presentation will introduce us to Clean Ocean Action's mission as a nonprofit and a brief history of ocean pollution issues. They will discuss the issues facing our oceans today, diving deeper into nonpoint source pollution, or what we call “Pointless Pollution.” We will also get an overview of the issue of plastics. Clean Ocean Action will also provide us with some solutions and ways to help and get involved!

Join us for a discussion of Local Woman Missing bMary Kubica. Copies of the book are available at select branches and through the MURAL library system. Some copies are available in large print too for those who prefer it.  This event is free and open to all.
