Starting off the New Year!
Communication Highlights of the Month:

  • Black River Falls: Customers are more satisfied when they have options. A recent bill insert from Black River Falls Municipal Utilities, communicated all the easy bill payment options available to customers.

  • Maquoketa: Maintaining customer satisfaction requires transparency. It's important to keep customers informed rather than left in the dark - in more ways than one! Customers of Maquoketa Municipal Electric Utility recently received their quarterly newsletter with winter saving tip ideas, budget billing options, and reliability information.
  • Check out the newsletter here.
  • Waunakee: Nothing beats a message about keeping the sewer system as clean as it can be. A bill insert was issued to customers by Waunakee Utilities to remind them to flush responsibly.

Did You Know: Inline Inserting
Did you know? InfoSend offers an option called inline inserting. For members with MyAccount, inline inserting is an easy and effective way to get your bill inserts in front of customers who opt for paperless billing. - allowing customers who choose paperless billing to still access bill inserts on a monthly basis.

When uploading an insert, if the "Insert Type" is selected as inline, the insert will print along with the bill and be stored along with the PDF image of the bill in the InfoSend image archive. This means that the bill insert will be viewable along with the bill on MyAccount by scrolling down through the page. Please note: Inserts have to be full page (1 or 2-sided) to use inline inserting, the cost is a little less than printing/inserting a separate insert, and there is no charge to archive the extra insert page(s).
Local Utility Branded App: Independence
Independence Light & Power, Telecommunications recently launched their utility branded MyAccount app. If interested in this option, please contact your Energy Services Manager.
