A Great Night of Music, Friends, Food and Fun!

Our September Celebrate Listeners event was a huge success, over 375 people attended. There were five local folk music groups acts (Jerree Small,  Feeding Leroy, Woodblind,  Teague Alexy, Black River Revue) who each performed a short set of music. We were blessed to have Dan Robinson from "Simply Folk" here to converse with the musicians and ask insightful questions about their music. The entire evening's performance was recorded and will be featured in future "Simply Folk" broadcasts in upcoming months.

WPR received tremendous community exposure from the event. People obviously enjoyed themselves and many took the time to express their thanks to WPR staff for hosting the event. A big thanks to Frost River for donating prizes, and especially to our hosts Earth Rider Brewing. It was a great community event!
