As the PPMC is heading into a fresh fiscal year, we took a break to infuse our team with some good times and celebration, and to ignite our vibrant sense of purpose. We did this in part due to some staffing changes at the PPMC.

Dr. Kaye Monk-Morgan

Dr. Kaye Monk-Morgan is the president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center. Her work fosters civic leadership for stronger, healthier, and more prosperous communities in Kansas and beyond.

Prior to KLC, Monk-Morgan served Wichita State for 30+ years, ultimately as the Vice President for Strategic Engagement and Planning. Her responsibilities included community and economic development, strategic planning, assessment and accreditation, and coordination of WSU’s First-Generation student services.

Kaye has a Bachelor of Chemistry/Business, a Master of Public Administration, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

The Greater Wichita YMCA hosted their first academic training session with #WichitaCollectiveImpact grantees. Local educators taught the group how to perform academic testing for students to help build the bridge between the academic day and out of school hours.
