Software Product Vision

Our vision for this project is to create a greenfield attribute tracking software that is accurate, effortless, and empowering — a tool that saves time, reduces stress, builds trust, and provides users with a seamless experience.

Software Update

Progress continues across the platform’s early development milestones. Core system architecture and cloud infrastructure are deployed, providing a strong foundation for a secure, reliable, and scalable system. Milestone 1 focused on user authentication and organization management, with key capabilities for login, security, and registration now in place. We have a couple of key improvements from this milestone, including updated multi-factor authentication that WREGIS staff will be able to reset without developer intervention, and a function that will check for duplicate organizations when signing up for a new one. We are also very excited about functionality that will allow a user to update an email address without requiring a new login.

Milestone 2, which focuses on generator registration and management, is underway. Key workflows for generator and QRE registration, file uploads, generator management, and shared meter groups are in place. Software development related to advanced generator types and remainder tracking by fuel type tasks are underway.

The project continues to progress according to plan, with Milestone 3 now started. This milestone includes building generation data reporting and validation capabilities, including data entry, validation rules, and data processing.
