Magic In The Garden

How Sweet Our Circle Is

What a wonderful evening! Two days before Rosh Hashanah with our voices lifting our spirits, delicious food and inspiring presentations from our sisters in sisterhood, we were able to prepare ourselves for the holiday and celebrate the reasons for the Women of Rodef Sholom. We hope that all who attended were inspired to explore getting more involved in WRS and WRJ. We could not have planned a more beautiful sunset to grace us. We learned from each other about the ways we are committed to our community, as well as about new opportunities.

We took time to write down our hopes for 5787.

Thank you to our speakers and song leaders.

At a time when civil and human rights are under attack on both sides of the ocean, Rabbi Sattah will share her wisdom and insights on how to remain vigilant, fight for our values, and persevere despite setbacks,

Rabbi Noa Sattath, ACRI's Executive Director, oversees an organization that defends and expands civil rights for all. She is an ordained Reform Rabbi and prior to joining ACRI was the Director of the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC), Noa has been a partner in leading social justice struggles, especially the struggle against the exclusion of women and the election of racist candidates running for Knesset.

The Association for Civil Rights Israel (ACRI) is the oldest and most influential civil and human rights organization in Israel, and the flagship grantee of the New Israel Fund. ACRI remains steadfast in its mission to protect human and civil rights—in the courts, in the Knesset, and in the street.
