Pastor Pogue delivers the sermon and music will be enhanced by the extraordinary Mel Reburg Mass Choir of Greater Centennial AME Zion Church. Services will be followed by a community-wide dinner. At this special service, we will also mark the 30th yahrzeit of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, z’l, who was assassinated on November 5, 1995.

Piloting Brand New Reform Torah Commentary

Curious about learning Torah? Already a seasoned learner? Join Rabbi Platcow and fellow congregants for a special Shabbat morning exploring the Reform Movement’s new Torah commentary. This masterful volume, to be published in 2027, represents the first-ever

comprehensive Reform Jewish translation of the Torah and will feature penetrating

Join Rabbi Blake for a close examination of the historical and political forces that have shaped the last 30 years of Israeli history. Following his popular course on the History of Zionism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (2023-2024), this 4-week in-person and livestreamed (on the WRT website) class will explore the period from the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin z”l 30 years ago this November through the present moment.

This is a relaxed, in-person opportunity to enjoy coffee, treats, and heartfelt conversation with friends old and new. Each month we explore a theme that inspires reflection and connection.

 

Looking ahead, we’ll continue the L’Chaim, To Us in 2026 with new themes such as The Books That Shaped Us, Acts of Kindness, and L’Dor V’Dor: Passing Wisdom Forward.

A Night With Anna Kislanski, CEO of the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism

4th Annual WRT Delivers Thanksgiving

Volunteer to cook and assemble Thanksgiving Dinner for those in need. There are age appropriate opportunities for everyone. To ensure that as many people as possible, regardless of circumstances, have the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving, food will be donated to Meals on Main Street for the distribution to residents in need in Port Chester, NY, and surrounding areas.  Sign up here! In order for this event to be a success, we rely on your generosity. Please donate here!
