We're huge nerds for Italian whites—and you do hear us extol their virtues.
You can't get a better example of a supremely fresh and soul-cleansingly-clean bottle of Pinot Grigio than Livio Felluga's. We still love challenging haters of the varietal to try this—though we are tired of saying "I told you so" everytime.

This is the finest Spanish sparkling wine we've ever had, and nothing else comes even remotely close. Rank #29 Raventos Blanc de Blancs Conda del Riu Anoia 2020 stands shoulder-to-shoulder with $60+ Champagnes yet is $23-$21.99 per bottle. I've never said that of Cava, in my entire wine career, until now. You'll say it too, after one sip!

This is very expressive, their youngest wine, from a vintage of concentration and power, a blend of 45% Xarel.lo, 40% Macabeo, 12% Parellada and 3% Malvasía de Sitges, a grape they are using to give the wine more freshness, as the variety keeps the acidity. This ages for a minimum of 18 months sur lie, but it might be more; all bottles carry the disgorgement date on the back label. This is tasty, saline and profound beyond the price point. Ah, yes, White Burgundy... what more do we need to say? I suppose we should point out this is the O.G. parent of #15, the second wine listed in this offer. Is anyone surprised?
The answer's no—and that speaks volumes about the consistency of this producer. It's a blue-chip, sure bet, shoo-in, bargain, and, above all else: delicious.

Okay... I guess we're just wine nerds—PERIOD. Not sure why this ranked so 'low' because this is one of most legendary dry Chenin Blancs you'll experience in your life. Yes, dry, as in not sweet.
The theme thus far is really clear: "Forget what you think you know about Riesling, Pinot Grigio, and Vouvray."
This wine is supremely complex and tastes like a slice of asian pear with the smallest drizzle of honey and dash of sea salt.
I'm very annoyed that we have only 11 bottles left and can't get more. Move fast.

"This is a very fine, fragrant and floral Le Haut Lieu Sec. While delicate, the 2021 fills the mouth with a cloud of pure fruit reminiscent of violets, apple and nectarine skin. There's a fine sinew that pulls the wine through on the finish. It can be approached in its youth but will go on and on."
