"A fine and subtle Brunello with cherries, candied watermelon, flowers and some orange peel."

92 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:

"It retains good purity and energy and is very well-balanced."

Dear Artisans,

Out of only 2,500 cases imported, we have only 37 bottles left of the most mouth-watering Montalcino marvel we've tasted in years!

This was the best seller of our "Italy's Crown Jewels" tasting last week, outclassing wines costing up to 4x as much.

Camigliano is one of the most historic estates in Montalcino. Acquired in 1957 by entrepreneur Walter Ghezzi, Camigliano was converted over time to the production of high quality wines, in particular of Brunello di Montalcino. The 1,300 acre estate is planted with over 220 acres of vineyards, 200 of which are Sangiovese vineyards. They are known for consistently producing an easy-going and very drinkable Brunello, and this 95=pointer is no exception.

All my best,

2020 Camigliano Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

95 Points, Rank #21 Top 100 of 2025 - Wine Spectator:

"There's bright cherry and strawberry fruit in this elegant red, along with rose, mineral and wild herb notes, plus a hint of black pepper. Harmonious and vibrant, this is fluid while cruising to the long, detailed aftertaste. Best from 2027 through 2043. 2,500 cases imported." - BS (Jun 2025)

93 Points - James Suckling:

"A fine and subtle Brunello with cherries, candied watermelon, flowers and some orange peel. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity and a bright finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink now." (Jul 2024)

92 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:

"The 2020 Brunello Di Montalcino is a transparent bright red color and is ripe with aromas of strawberry preserve, candied flowers, sweet herbs, and mossy earth. Medium-framed, it’s vibrant on the palate, with a linear feel, fine tannins, and bright acidity, leading with notes of orange citrus through a rather long finish and a touch of warmth. It retains good purity and energy and is very well-balanced. Drink 2026-2040." (Jan 2025)

91 Points - Vinous:

"Woodland herbs and earth tones come together with dried black cherries as the 2020 Brunello di Montalcino opens in the glass. This splashes across the palate with ease, lifted and energetic, with wild berry fruits and perfumed inner florals riding a wave of brisk acidity. It leaves a pleasantly bitter tinge and hints of spice, tapering off with medium length and a sour cherry concentration. (Drink between 2026-2032)." - Eric Guido (Feb 2025)

Only 37 bottles left of the vintage!
