The 2022 Northwest Lab Forum was a success! Thank you to everyone that was able to attend. It was great to get back on schedule with the March 18 - 20 conference this year. This event focused on local speakers to take advantage of all the great local talent our community has to offer. Participants were able to enjoy industry relevant panel discussions, table top clinics, keynote presentations, and vote for a “best work” photo contest. Hopefully, everyone enjoyed the opportunity to create new friendships, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate personal growth within our membership organization!

Bates Technical College Dental Lab Technician Program |
|
I would like to update organization members on the Bates Technical College Dental Lab Technician program. In January, we cut the ribbon on a brand new, state-of-the-art dental lab technology facility at our downtown campus. This monumental event involved years of planning, moving the lab into a new building, and updating most of the dated equipment. Most exciting to announce: in addition to all of the traditional tools for creating dental devices, the school has updated and improved its digital design and restoration department. The curriculum includes digital design, scanning, milling, and printing techniques.

The Spear Education Grant awards two virtual Spear Educational Seminars ($1,695 value each) and five Spear Online Memberships ($2,748 value each), which includes 24/7 access to their online continuing education platform

The NADL University Grant covers tuition for two individuals to attend the 2022 NADL University. Eligible professionals will earn a Certificate in Dental Laboratory Management during this 3-day, intensive professional management course.
