By now, all of you have likely heard about the recent passage of Washington State House Bill 1177; what a huge win for our industry! On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to pass along how excited we are to work with the Department of Health, the Washington State Dental Association and the National Association of Dental Labs to put the final touches on the new law.

2019 Washington State Legislation Update
IMPORTANT MEMBER INFORMATION
The importance of dental laboratory registration has been discussed by the Board of Directors since 2013 and a member meeting was held to initially discuss registration with the members at the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference (PNDC) in June 2016.  A vote by the membership was taken at that meeting and approved WSDLA supporting dental laboratory registration.
