An improved online experience

We are making changes to how businesses log in to our online services so that we can better support the number of people who use our system – especially around our busier periods. Businesses can visit wsib.ca/login to start using our online services.  
Your 2020 premium rates: understand the new model  

Businesses across Ontario are now receiving their 2020 premium rate information. We are providing these details earlier than ever before to help prepare you for the transition to our new premium rate-setting model on January 1, 2020. 

To better understand our new rate-setting process, we encourage you to join our webinars and technical rate sessions throughout the fall or visit our website for the latest updates.

Any business registered with the WSIB can sign up and log in through our online services to access Compass and see: 
  • 2020 premium rates
  • Detailed costs and claims information about injuries and illnesses that happened in their workplace
  • Key health and safety statistics, including workplace injury trends over time

Schedule 2 Employers' Group Conference coming this October

On October 22-23, 2019 the 30th Annual Schedule 2 Employers’ Group Conference is taking place at the Sheraton Parkway Hotel in Richmond Hill, Ontario. 

Over 450 industry professionals from across Ontario will attend and participate in 40+ workshops and educational sessions on workplace wellness, health and safety, workplace compensation and disability management. 
How loud is too loud?

Work-related noise-induced hearing loss is more common than people think. Noise is everywhere and sometimes it can be difficult to know when it presents a hazard. Workplaces all across Ontario are filled with loud noises that over time can cause permanent damage to your ears, resulting in hearing loss.

Your next WSIB clearance will be simple
 
Now, instead of creating a specific clearance for each business a contractor works with, one clearance will be automatically created as long as the business is up-to-date with its WSIB premium reporting and payments. 
 
Updating your business address is quick and easy
 
Businesses can update their address online by going to wsib.ca/addressupdate or by selecting “update your address” from our online services for businesses. 
More people can now upload claim-related documents
 
If you provide home modification or return-to-work services to people with WSIB claims, you can now upload any claim-related forms or other documents you need to send to us. When you upload a document, it’s on file within minutes, so we can help sooner.
