By signing up for an account at the start of a claim, people can track their report and easily view their information as soon as their claim is registered. They can also start using other online services features like submitting documents online, signing up for direct deposit, and sending us a message, all in one convenient place. Visit wsib.ca/myclaim for more information.

The WSIB and the Government of Ontario propose expanding presumptive cancer coverage for firefighters

Together, the WSIB and Ontario government proposed expanding presumptive coverage for thyroid and pancreatic cancers for firefighters. These changes will make it easier and faster for firefighters and their families to access the necessary compensation and supports. The expanded coverage will apply to full-time, volunteer, and part-time firefighters, firefighters employed by First Nations band councils, and fire investigators.
