On Tuesday, April 28, we commemorate the National Day of Mourning as a day to remember and honour those who have died, been injured or suffered illness in the workplace.
The Day of Mourning gives us time to reflect on those whose lives have been forever changed by workplace tragedies. We encourage you to use these free resources to share the importance of the Day of Mourning with your employees, customers and networks.
You can also show support for families devastated by workplace tragedy by volunteering, donating to, or walking in Steps for Life. Fundraising walks are held in cities across the province and support Threads of Life, a national charity that helps families in Canada who have been affected by workplace tragedies.
