Making construction sites safer

Businesses can now receive up to $2,500 from us when they purchase an automated external defibrillator (AED) for their qualifying construction projects. Our new AED reimbursement program supports a safer Ontario by helping construction companies put life-saving equipment within easy reach. Learn more about the eligibility criteria and how to apply for a reimbursement.

2026 cost-of-living adjustment for benefits

Beginning January 1, 2026, people who receive WSIB benefits will get a cost-of-living adjustment of two per cent. This amount is fully indexed to the Consumer Price Index.

Did you know you can submit account-related documents directly to your WSIB account or send us a message and receive a response in near real-time using our online services? You can submit and categorize account-related documents, view your document submission history and choose to receive an email confirming your document submission.
