Dear Willow Springs Parents and Guardians,

We hope that you have had as great of a week as we have here at Willow Springs.  We are in full swing now and are charging forward with our school year.  I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your Leopard Time donations.  We are thrilled to have the items you donated and will continue to happily accept the items mentioned last week.

NEW! Online School Picture Ordering and Retakes

Your student should have brought home a QR code to utilize to view proofs from picture day.  If your student didn’t make it home with the code or has misplaced it, please click here to be directed on how to view your students picture proof or order prints.  All orders received so far, have been delivered to your students math teacher.

Picture retakes will be on Friday, September 30th from 8:30am - 3:15pm on the stage.  Students are encouraged to come through their lunches or an elective period.  

NEW! No Pass-No Play: Six Weeks Progress Report Grades

Friday, September 23rd, will be the last day for six week progress reports.  Although we are on a nine week grading system, UIL requires all schools to check eligibility after the first six weeks and again at the end of the first grading period if it exceeds six weeks.  Our first grading period will end on Thursday, October 6th.  For a copy of the UIL eligibility calendar, please click here.

NEW! Important Yearbook Information

The 2023 yearbook is now on sale! If you order by Friday 9-16 you will not only receive the 2023 book for the lowest price of the year, but you can get 4 free cover icons as well! The free cover icon offer ends on Friday 9-16. NOTE: You do have to purchase personalization in order to receive the 4 free icons.

Final Reminder - ParentPortal Update

ParentPortal Update Needed by Friday, September 16

The PowerSchool ParentPortal is now open for you to complete the online Enrollment & Student Information Forms. Please click here to access the Parent Portal. Completion of these forms is required every year for each student, and need to be completed by Friday, September 16thClick here for instructions on completing.


If you need assistance with account access or password reset, please use this link . Access requests and password resets will occur during business hours: 8:30am-4:30pm. We are unable to fulfill requests after hours, holidays or weekends. You’ll be notified via email once your request is complete.


Car Line Auction Is Open

Tired of getting to Willow Springs hours before dismissal to save your spot?

Stock the Teacher Lounge

The WSMS PTO would love to kick off the year by showing our Teachers and Staff how much we appreciate them!  What better way to express our appreciation than to stock their lounge with snacks, treats, and drinks.  There are several ways to stock the lounge:  Sign up to donate items to drop off at the front office, donate money to go directly to this stock the lounge event or order from our amazon wish list and have it shipped straight to the school.  Please drop off all items to the Front Office before Tuesday, September 20th, @ 10:00 AM

First Membership Meeting 

The first PTO membership meeting for the 2022-2023 school year is coming up Thursday, September 15th at 10am in the WSMS band hall.  We hope you will join us. Everyone is welcome!

Athlete Physical Information

Online athletic forms are online and ready to be completed for the 2022-2023 school year. Please go to https://lovejoyisd.rankonesport.com/New/Home.aspx set up your account, and fill out the forms.  The physical forms are now available for athletes to pick up. Players may get one at the front office of WSMS, or print one by clicking here.

District Advisory Committees

We are pleased to announce, the District will be launching Special Education, Gifted and Talented, and Career Education Advisory Committees. These committees will include parents, campus and district staff representatives. The purpose of the advisory committees is to establish an additional layer of communication and collaboration, resulting in achieving positive outcomes for all students through strong home and school partnerships.
