Second Quarter

Welcome to TradeWinds — the official digital newsletter of the World Trade Center Washington, DC (WTCDC).

This summer, the WTCDC had the honor of hosting several high-level diplomatic and trade-focused events. H.E. Alfredo Fabião Nuvunga, Ambassador of Mozambique to the U.S., and H.E. Jose Manuel Romualdez, Ambassador of the Philippines, who both shared insights on their vibrant economies and trade and investment opportunities in their countries.

In addition to our diplomatic engagements, WTCDC partnered with beSUCCESS Media Group and the National IP Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) of South Korea to host the inaugural Korea Innovation Convergence Summit, connecting Korean digital innovators with U.S. stakeholders. We also co-hosted the Washington International Trade Association (WITA) Annual Dinner, in a night of honoring U.S. Senators Michael Bennet and Mike Crapo for their contributions to international trade.

Wishing you a productive and inspiring fall season ahead!
