Ascendium grant will help WTCS close equity gaps
Ascendium Education Group has awarded the next round of grants from its $10 million Maintain Momentum for Student Success Initiative, including a $150,000 grant to the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS).

2019 WTCS Ambassador recognized for leadership
2019 WTCS Ambassador Barbara Turner (MPTC) earned the first Emerging Leader Award from the Beaver Dam Chamber for demonstrating strong character, leadership, and community service.

Barbara, who served over 200 hours at the Chamber during COVID-19, was also recognized by Congressman Grothman.
MATC recognizes "Second Chance" graduates
Thanks to the "Second Chance Pell" pilot program that allows a small number of colleges nationally to provide education for prisoners, seven individuals in Wisconsin had a second chance to better themselves through higher education.
