Required State Testing is coming in April!

WTMC 9th Grade Students,


All 9th graders are required to complete the PSAT-9 test in April. 

 

On April 18, all 9th grade students will take the PSAT-9. This test offers students an important opportunity to practice test taking skills and improve their SAT scores in the future. Completion of this test is required and is part of WTMC's graduation requirements.

PSAT-9

  • Friday, April 18, 12:00 – 3:00 pm
  • Campus Computer Labs (Specific room assignments are listed below.)
  • Content/Tests: Reading, Writing & Language, and Math


On test day, 9th grade students attend 1st hour class then have lunch until 11:50. All students need to arrive to check-in by 12:00. Testing starts promptly at 12:00. 


Bring these things to the test:

Pencils to do scratch work.

Snack & drink


Optional: A scientific calculator is built into the testing software. However, you may bring a calculator that you use for your math class. Cell phones CANNOT be used during testing.


Students with a WCC Class:

If you are taking a college class, you are excused during required testing but are responsible for making up the work you miss. Speak with your instructors the week before the test day to make arrangements. Attached below is a letter from WCC Vice President of Instruction, Brandon Tucker, that you can give to your WCC instructor.
