New Student Orientation is Thursday, August 22
All new students must attend orientation with at least one parent/guardian. New families should have received a letter and an email with their schedule for the day.
Orientation will begin on the 2nd floor of the Crane Liberal Arts & Sciences (LA) building on the campus of WCC.

The day is divided into four sessions by BASE advisor. Please come during your assigned session.

Orientation Group 1, 8:10 – 10:30 a.m. Students of BASE advisors Vanhala, Tuttle, Zimmerman, Mullaney, Zemper, Gilpin, Sastre, & Weber

Orientation Group 2, 9:40 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Students of BASE advisors O'Brien, Boland, Sherfield, Schulz, Bekemeyer, & Zdyrko

Orientation Group 3, 11:10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Students of BASE advisors Becker, Coleman, Glupker, Taube, Hines, Linford, Ackerman, & Bauer

Staff Returns to the Office
On Monday, August 19 teachers/BASE advisors return to the office for professional development and the WTMC office returns to normal hours.
WTMC Office Hours
You can find us in TI 214 on the second floor of the Technical & Industrial building.
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 - 4:00
Friday: 10:00 - 4:00

First Day of School Schedule
WTMC classes begin with 1st period on Friday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. and follow the normal Friday schedule. (See below)

Fall Book Pick-up
For WCC College Classes:
College textbooks must be picked up from the WCC bookstore between Aug. 22 - Sept. 13.
Book Stickers & Student IDs: All students need a book sticker on their ID to pick up college books. Get your sticker from the bookstore when you return the previous semester’s books.

Students without college books to return get their sticker at the WTMC office, TI 214.
Books not picked up on time? Your books will be returned to the shelves and you will be directed to the WTMC office for help.
For WTMC Classes:
WTMC textbooks will be handed out by teachers in class.

New for 2024-2025!
9th Grade Weekly Schedule for Fall & Winter Semesters

In order to decrease the number of students in the Student Center at lunchtime, WTMC 9th graders will have a slightly different schedule than our Middle College students this year.

9th grade students have lunch at 11:00 every day - after 1st period on Mon & Fri and in the middle of 2nd period on Tues, Wed, Thu.

Middle college students have lunch after 2nd period every day.

Middle College Weekly Schedule for Fall & Winter Semesters | |
BASE Seminar
Students meet in their BASE groups every Monday for team-building, career exploration, & other activities.
The school day is 9:00 - 4:00 Monday - Thursday.

BASE Advising Time
Advisors have time every day after school for individual BASE meetings.
School ends at 4:00 every day, even though classes end at 3:00. We expect students to use this time to meet with their advisors or teachers.

Professional Development Time
Teachers meet every Friday morning to collaborate on PD projects and school goals.
Friday is a late-start day for students, but follows the same class schedule as Monday. The school day is 10:00 - 4:00 on Fridays.

Labor Day Holiday
There are no WTMC classes and the WTMC office will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Friday, Aug. 30 and Monday, Sept. 2.

StuCo Welcome Back Day
Come out to "The Bowl" after school on Sept. 4, 3:30 - 4:15 to learn about WTMC clubs and student activities.
