Learn about mental health resources to support a healthier school. Meets Tuesdays as part of Student Council.

Advisor: Ms. Kaplan

The Peer-to-Peer Club is conducting a mental health survey and would love your input. The survey requires your student ID number, but results are not shared with WTMC staff or students. Complete the survey and be automatically entered into an Amazon gift card raffle! The deadline to fill it out is November 11.

Purpose of the Survey: The survey is being conducted by the University of Michigan and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) at WTMC to gain insights into students' perspectives on mental health. The data collected will help shape a targeted mental health campaign tailored to the specific needs of the WTMC student body. For more info or for help with the survey, click HERE.

Writers! Enter the University of Michigan High School Op-Ed Contest

The Michigan Daily recognizes the myriad of unique perspectives that high school students have and how those perspectives often go underrepresented in traditional media. That’s why we are eager to provide a platform for those perspectives in our first ever High School Op-ed contest!

Submissions will be accepted from October 21 to November 21, offering an exceptional opportunity for three winners to have their work published by The Michigan Daily. Winners will also be featured in a special highlight on our Instagram.

Opinion pieces at The Michigan Daily typically cover a wide array of topics, ranging from politics and technology to campus life and beyond. For this contest, we encourage you to write on any subject that aligns with your interests, but with a distinct focus on your perspective as a high schooler. Whether you choose to discuss global issues or local events, the key is to present your views in a manner that reflects your unique experience and outlook. For more information, please look at our Op-Ed guidelines

If you have any questions, comments or concerns please reach out to the Editorial Page Editors Lindsey Spencer and Zhane Yamin at lindssp@umich.edu and zhane@umich.edu
