WHERE TO NEXT?

Good morning Traveler,

"Where can we go that's warm and sunny?"

I'm getting asked that question daily from clients and friends. Most of them live in the upper half of the USA, so it's understandable they feel that way during the depths of winter.

I live in New England. At this time of year we expect cold temps and snow. Last Friday our kids had a "snow" day but there was no snow. There was ice and freezing rain. Couple that with lack of sunshine and I am done with this weather!

Next step - take action.

Jessie and I bought tickets to Miami for next weekend. Just having it on my calendar and knowing that I will be in warmth and ☀️ soon is helping me cope with the grey days.

We will see friends, we will eat lots of Latin foods. I've made reservations at a favorite taco place, a highly recommended Tel Avivian restaurant, a cool rooftop bar and Jessie wants us to wake early one day and go for a cold plunge in the ocean. I'm up for it. We're also going to the Tulum-like beach bar at the 1 Hotel. We may do beach yoga, go to a salsa bar and ride bikes along the beach. And I'll squeeze in some hotel site visits. I also happened upon something I've never heard of in Miami (love it when this happens) and I'm hopeful we'll be able to check it out. Of course I'll share it with you if it's a worthy outing.

I can't wait!

I know many of you feel similarly. The results from our poll on whether you are dreaming of warmth and sunshine or snow was overwhelmingly warmth and sunshine!

As I've been looking at availability, I know my favorite hotels in Costa Rica are full for spring break season, as are many other places.
