SCHOLARSHIPS SPOTLIGHT
Sarvani Duvvuri, Ph.D.
2021 Mary N. Clayton Honorary Scholarship Recipient
Sarvani is currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. When receiving her scholarship, she was pursuing the third year of her Ph.D. in the Infrastructure and Environmental Systems Program at UNC Charlotte.

Sarvani wrote the following about the impact of receiving the scholarship:

"My educational pursuits would not have been possible without your consideration of the Mary N. Clayton Honorary Scholarship. Your consideration of graduate students like me has inspired me to contribute to society by educating more women to take STEM careers. Over the past year, I have been actively mentoring people who reach out through professional platforms like LinkedIn. I wish to contribute to WTS International and Local Chapters to my fullest as a transportation professional."

One way Sarvani has been encouraging transportation careers is through her YouTube channel, where she has produced videos exploring her personal career journey and her transportation research. We encourage you to check out and share her videos, and we look forward to more impressive contributions from Sarvani!
