What Is ARTSPACE?
ARTSPACE is a mixed-use arts education and gallery space, owned and operated by projectART Wimberley, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit. It hosts multiple exhibitions annually as a student-run contemporary gallery space. ARTSPACE also hosts artist talks, workshops, performances, events, and offers a variety of K-12 art classes and summer camps. Through ARTSPACE, projectART Wimberley strives to offer similar opportunities to those available in areas where access to museums, arts facilities, funding, magnet schools, and quality community programming is more accessible.
What makes adult ARTSPACE classes & workshops unique?
Adult classes and workshops help support our mission, “to support art education and provide creative opportunities for area students.” Adult ARTSPACE classes and workshops welcome community members into ARTSPACE to explore new creative passions. Like our youth classes and camps, adult programming maintains a low student-teacher ratio, allowing participants to dive deeper into subjects in a peaceful and enriching learning environment.
