Arts Fest 2022

Arts Fest 2022 closes at 4:00 p.m. TODAY. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for?! Join us!
Yesterday was FANTASTIC but today promises to be even BETTER! There is wonderful food, engaging live music, and booth after booth of glorious art work. And we are ALL enjoying the peaceful setting under beautiful trees along the Blanco River at The Waters Point.

Thank you to everyone who is participating, especially the talented artists, many of whom traveled quite a distance to be here. Special thanks to our dedicated volunteers. This event wouldn't be possible without each of you!

If you attended yesterday, or can join us today we're pretty sure your next step will be to make plans to return in 2023. And if you can't make it this weekend, well...you'll want to make a note to join us next spring for the annual, always memorable, Wimberley Arts Fest

Over the course of the next few days we'll create and add to an Arts Fest Photo gallery that you'll be able to visit HERE
or access from our homepage menu

Check back for that, and if YOU have photos to share, send via email
or post them and tag us on Instagram or Facebook @wimberleyvalleyartleague

Meet, Mingle, and Learn

Our May general meeting is Monday, May 9, at the Wimberley Community Center. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. but doors open at 6:00 to give us time to visit! The general business meeting will be immediately followed by a presentation from our guest speaker Jenny Granberry.

Jenny's presentation will be in her capacity as a Golden Paints representative. Those of us who were fortunate enough to attend her last presentation here can attest to the fantastic information shared. And... this presentation comes with goodie bags stuffed full of fabulous Golden products. It promises to be an interesting learning experience for all our members and one you won't want to miss!

Mark your calendars NOW for our next meeting, June 13, featuring a presentation on cut paper art by Kristen Newcomer.

We're in need of volunteers
to assist with our Facebook page and Newsletter.
If you would like to learn more about these opportunities
email us at wimberleyvalleyartleague@gmail.com
We'll be glad to share more information.

Painting Group

Join other artists each Friday as we ‘Plein Air’ paint in and around Wimberley. We meet early and paint for a few hours. It’s a great way to get inspired by the beauty of our community and all that it has to offer. No pressure or critique (unless you ask for it). Getting outdoors and painting something different is a great way to jump-start your creativity.
