FINALLY!!
After ~2 1/2 years of sitting at home and being a captive of covid, we are meeting in person again and it’s certainly been worth the wait! Here are some of the activities we’ve had since April.

Our April, May and June general meetings were “live”, informative and well attended. We delivered art work in person, another first in 2 1/2 years, for our current show. The turn out was impressive. We had a whopping 150 pieces submitted, 42 of which were selected for the show.

We celebrated the 15th Anniversary of our being in the gallery with an over the top opening. An amazing art tree center piece and the table of beautifully prepared hors d oeuvres were highlights of the celebration.

Special thanks goes to the dream team of Irma Gross, Katherine Evans, and Myra Allen for their imaginative and creatively decorated art tree center piece. The tree, like the famous art hanging from it, was a masterpiece. Well done! The accompanying silent auction for the art work adorning the art tree promises to deliver ~$400.00 dollars to Mercy Chefs.

Also, hats off to Jan Fitzhugh and her team of Kathy Arnold, Gary Arnold, Pat Haggerton, Kerry Jones, and Kaye Collins who prepared and served a tasty variety of Hors d oeuvres. The table display was as visually stunning as the finger food was delicious. Fabulous work!

As the year progresses we have presenting artists scheduled for our general meeting for the remainder of 2022, plans are underway for the Studio Tour and we are beginning to plan for our Christmas party.

We are back and we’d love to see you at any or all of these upcoming events. Please join us!

Thanks,
Steve Shellenberger
