ELEMENTARY HOMEWORK CLUB: Starting next week! (See details below.)

AFTERNOON CAR LINE TIP: Enjoy the VIP car line experience by letting your kiddos hang out for 5-10 minutes after school! Show up around 3:10 pm and you won't get stuck waiting in your cars at the end of the day!

TARDY POLICY: We want each of our students to be successful in school and one way that we can help them is by getting them to school on time. Middle School starts at 7:55 and Elementary starts at 8:10. If your student gets to school late, please send them to the school office for a tardy slip. Our handbook states "If an elementary or middle school student accrues five tardies at the beginning of the school day in a calendar month, the family will be billed $10.00. If subsequent tardies occur, families will be billed $10.00 for each additional tardy in the same calendar month." Thank you for your help in this important matter.

After School Programs

Atsuyo Jeen teaches piano at WVCS. She offers lessons after school to every age group. She is an incredibly gifted teacher and the students simply adore her! For more information about piano lessons, email Atsuyo at jeenatsuyo@gmail.com.

Elementary Homework Club (for 2nd-5th grade students) starts next week! Our Academic Support Director, Kelly Lenhert, is the head of this year's club. The club will take place in Room 203 and will be between the hours of 3-4 pm. 2nd and 3rd grade will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 4th & 5th grade will be on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an incredible opportunity for students to get help completing their homework at the end of the day!

A message from Ms. Majdi:

"This is a reminder that we provide complimentary Homework Club to all our Middle Schoolers that may need help getting through their math homework. It is available every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 pm, and students meet in my classroom (room 208). There is no need to sign up in advance, students that would like to attend, just simply need to show up. When they do so, they will sign in on our Homework Club roster. Once they are finished with homework, they can either be picked up or check in to Daycare in the Connecting Place. Daycare charges will only apply AFTER they have checked out of Homework Club if they are still on campus."
