Summer Financial Aid Reminders

Students enrolled in the summer term need to pay special attention to their WVNCC email and NOW Accounts during the weeks of May 15, and May 22.

During this time, spring grades are assessed and the staff will be reviewing spring outcomes for potentially needed paperwork and documentation. These documents will be emailed or are available online here.

Deadlines and Important Dates:

• May 26, 2023 - Satisfactory Academic Progress appeals for Financial Aid Deadline
• June 6, 2023 – Book Vouchers End 
• (Be sure to order books for classes that start later in the summer!)
• June 19, 2023 – Financial Aid Disbursement Run including first ½ of summer only loans. 
• June 29, 2023 – Refunds sent to Bank Mobile.
• July 11, 2023 – second ½ of Summer only loans disbursed. 
• July 13, 2023 – second ½ of Summer only refunds sent to Bank Mobile.

Documents can be returned to financialaidoffice@wvncc.edu, dropped off to the Financial Aid Office or any of the Service Centers. Fax and traditional mail are also acceptable.
