Students are encouraged to re-register by the end of the semester to help your program reach its registration goal.


The program with the highest percentage of students registered wins a pizza party for all of its students.

Online Tutoring Services Available Through the ARC


The Academic Resource Center Online has two tutoring services that can help you get through the home stretch of the semester!


Find both of them in your Student Portal in Brightspace.


Northern Tutors

Northern's own tutors can help you with subject matter content, study strategies, test prep, and paper review! 


Brainfuse

Brainfuse is our other tutoring service. These tutors can help you with subject matter content.


Both services can be found in your portal in Brightspace in the Academic Resource Center-Online.

Open to all students, faculty, staff, friends and family, this is an opportunity for WVNCC students to show off what they have learned throughout the semester. This might be an experiment, a paper on current topics, a flyer on health care, a welding project, a computer program, or a culinary feast! The list of possibilities is endless.

Financial Aid Announcements

WV Invests Community Service Requirement Due By December 11


Students receiving the WV Invests award are reminded of the community service requirement. 


These are 2 hours each term for which a student is enrolled and using the program. They are required to be completed before the term ends.

Loan applications are done by semester. The spring 2024 application is now available.


Remember to read carefully! These can be returned to financialaidoffice@wvncc.edu, delivered to the Financial Aid Office, or to the Service Center on any of the three campuses.

The Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley has announced that their scholarship application period will begin January 1 and close on February 28.
