Wrapping up 2022

Greetings Watershed Stewards,

What a wonderful year for the Watershed Volunteer Program! We so enjoyed celebrating a decade of watershed stewardship with you earlier this week.

Thank you to the over 275 volunteers who gave over 2,800 hours of their time this year to learning about, restoring, monitoring and spreading the word about watersheds. You participated in over 100 events hosted by WVP and Cleveland Metroparks! Our busiest year yet! Congratulations to the 35 stewards who received certification this year. Through your efforts we helped to plant over 2,575 trees and we are excited to see the program grow along with those trees in 2023! We have a few events coming up to keep you busy in January and February (see details below). Until then stay warm and enjoy the holiday season.

Gratefully,

The WVP Team
