WVP Enews: Show Your Nature Finds

Hello, Watershed Friends!

I hope you have been able to get outside and enjoy late spring. As the weather warms, WVP has been offering many stream monitoring and restoration events. For more details about these upcoming hands-on field sessions, check out the WVP calendar here.

One new project that I would like to promote is the Rocky River Independent Macroinvertebrate Monitoring Project. If you have an interest in this new project, please check out the recordings from the program kickoff here and additional macro learning resources here.

Additionally, did you know that June 15 is Nature Photography Day? For those of you who are photographers or just love to get outside, we welcome you to participate in a nature photography bioblitz on iNaturalist between June 4 and June 14 to showcase your steward involvement. More details can be found here. We’d love to see your pictures! If you are interested in sharing pictures of your findings, please send them to wvpinfo@clevelandmetroparks.com.

Thank you so much for all that you do!

Best,

Bre Turner
