Hello Watershed Volunteers,    We are so grateful for your care and stewardship of NEO watersheds. As we wrap up this year and enter the holiday season, we are pausing to reflect on how much each of you means to the WVP community. Whether you have made it out to a work session or learning event this year or not, you being a member of our community, sharing, and connecting is something we don't take for granted. We hope to see you soon and expand our community of watershed stewards in the new year. Please join us for the online Monday MeetUp//WrapUp Celebration on Mon, Dec 6 at 6 p.m. Help us reach others that care about our watersheds and invite them to attend an upcoming LinkUp Orientation. Please check the WVP calendar to see our upcoming events. Wishing you wonderful holidays filled with moments to celebrate your connection to water. With Gratitude,   Lisa Meranti

Rocky River Watershed Council Seeks New Board Members Are you passionate about the environment and looking for new ways to get involved? The Rocky River Watershed Council (RRWC), an all-volunteer advocacy group, is seeking new board members. The RRWC is dedicated to improving the watershed of the Rocky River and its tributaries through public education, watershed planning, and cooperation among stakeholders. The Council is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors, elected to two year terms at the Annual Meeting in January. No experience necessary, but WVP volunteers may be particularly suited. Board members help coordinate events like tree plantings, stream-cleanups, and must attend monthly business meetings. If you are interested in joining this unique organization or learning more please reach out to Tom Miller at thomas.b.miller@nasa.gov or visit the website at myrockyriver.org.
