WVP Enews: Spring Ahead Safely

Hello, Watershed Stewards,

Where did winter go? Are you ready for spring to start this month? I am guessing that I am not alone in being excited for our field and stream season to begin. You will see on the calendar many opportunities to join us for monitoring and restoration projects for March and April. I am working on developing the May schedule now.

We are thankful for all your time and talent! We are looking forward to a safe and sustainable season in our NEO watersheds.

Be well,

Lisa Meranti

Watershed Volunteer Program Coordinator

Watershed Stories: World Water Day

The United Nations general assembly declared the observance of World Water Day on March 22 of each year, beginning in 1993. This day sheds light on the international importance of freshwater and focuses on a different water-related topic each year.

We encourage you to celebrate World Water Day by clicking the "read more" link below, joining us for a celebration at the Watershed Stewardship Center on Sun, March 26, or establishing one new practice related to the sustainable use of freshwater. Let us know what you plan to do by emailing us at wvpinfo@clevelandmetroparks.com.
