Vaping is dangerous, easily available, and addicting, especially for teens. What has pe
diatricians especially worried is that it's easy for teens to hide vaping from parents.
As of January 7, 2020, a total of 2,602 cases of hospitalized e-cigarette, or vaping, product use-associated lung injury (EVALI) or deaths have been reported to CDC from 50 states, the District of Columbia, and two U.S. territories (Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands).
Just this month the American Academy of Pediatrics released a 30-second TIPS FOR KIDS video on e-cigarette and teens that is a must watch for all parents (link below).
