Robotics for Adults with Ned!

July 17th @ 10:00am and 12:00pm


Adults of all ages (18 and up) are welcome to play with Ned, our collaborative robot (or "cobot") arm based on open-source technologies and designed specifically for education, vocational training and more.

Work "all together now" to program Ned to locate, pick up and drop objects, or to just wave "hi"!

Creative Kids: Honey Bees

Kids entering grades 1-5 are invited to create art with us.

No older or younger children please. Please cancel your registration at least one hour before the program so those on the waiting list have an opportunity to participate. If you are not present at the start of the event, your space may be given to someone on the waiting list.

Tweens entering grades 5-8 are invited to play in a MarioKart Tournament.


We will play through a bracket and the winner will receive a prize.

Benson Park Hike

Friday, July 21st @ 9:15am


Circulation Librarian Dana Benner will lead a weekly hike at Benson Park. Be prepared for a 45-60 minute hike up and down hill on uneven ground. Meet at the gorilla cage at 9:15 in sturdy shoes to leave for a hike at 9:30. Please remember to bring water.
