New sources of business may be right under your nose! Whether you’re seeing the effects of an economic downturn or not, it’s always a good time to assess the business opportunities that lie within your existing contacts and relationships
Don’t wait for your ship to come in. Swim out to it. So many times, the Sales Person is waiting for the customer to say “I’ll take it!” instead of asking for the business. This presentation explores different strategies for making the sale happen, instead of waiting for someone else to control the outcome of the sale and your future.

Marvin Montgomery (The Sales Doctor) is a nationally known Motivational Speaker, Sales Trainer, Sales Coach and published author. Over the course of a 30 year sales career, he has assisted hundreds of organization and sales professionals in improving the odds of making a sale and exceeding established goals. Get ready to be MARVINIZED!

How does TechCred help small business?

TechCred helps Ohioans learn new skills and helps employers build a stronger workforce with the skills needed in a technology-infused economy.
Many of these trainings can be completed online!
These technology-focused credentials take a year or less to complete and prepare current and future employees for the technology jobs Ohio employers need.

Next TechCred Round Launches June 1st

Ohio businesses can visit TechCred.Ohio.gov to apply and help their employees earn a short-term, technology-focused credential at no cost. Not only can businesses upskill their current employees, but they can upskill those they plan to hire as long as they are on the payroll at the time of reimbursement.

More than 1,100 Ohio businesses have used TechCred, some having used it multiple times, creating the opportunity for 19,841 technology-focused credentials to be earned by Ohio employees.

The results from the April application period will be announced in the near future.
