The Ohio SBDC at Lakeland Community College is offering free Expert Marketing Assistance to local Small Business Owners for a limited time. Marketing Expert, Joey White-Owner of Handouts, works with the Ohio SBDC at Lakeland C.C. to provide consulting to small business owners.

To qualify for this free special assistance, you must have been in business for at least one year, be located in either Lake County or Geauga County and have employees.

$705M in Grants Remain for Ohio Child Care Providers
Governor Mike DeWine announced that the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) has launched the third phase of child care providers grants. The program has already distributed $230 million in grants to strengthen Ohio’s child care industry.

Businesses

Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced that 64 minority- and women-owned Ohio businesses have received more than $5 million in loans through the Ohio Department of Development in the first half of 2022 to grow and expand their businesses.

The Diversity & Inclusion Technology Internship Program can connect businesses with the best and brightest upcoming talent to fill their tech needs. Paycheck Protection Loan Forgiveness Still Available
|
Businesses that received loans through the federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) are encouraged to apply for loan forgiveness.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is no longer accepting PPP applications after providing $798 billion in economic relief to small businesses and nonprofits. Loan recipients still can apply for loan forgiveness, but deadlines may already have passed for some recipients.

· Pupil Support Aide for lunch and recreation from 10:15-12:15 pm at the middle school
· Pupil Support Aide to monitor study hall and recreation from 11:00-2:45 pm at the high school
· Secretary in the transportation department from 1:00-4:30 pm
· Educational assistant 8:30-3:30 (will be at the elementary school)
· Substitute custodians, secretaries, pupil aides, nurses and bus drivers.
