2022 was a bitter-sweet year for us here at WWUH.

We lost three members of the UH Radio family in the second half of the year: Jim Bolan, who was a jazz host for many years; Paul McGuinness, who until last month hosted a Gothic Blimp Works and Walter Miskin, who had been with the station on and off since 1977(!) and served most recently as our Program Director.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families and friends.

On a more positive note, 2022 saw our programming return to normal after the pandemic-related remote broadcasting that took place the year prior. And we saw two very successful fund drives in 2022 thanks to the generosity of our listeners.

2023 should be an exciting year for us as we will be celebrating 55 years on the air this summer with some special events and programming. Stay tuned.

Please remember that as a community station we are always very interesting in hearing from you about our programming. You can call the WWUH Listener Line at 860-768-5913 and leave a message, or email me at the address below.

Happy New Year!
