An Invitation to Write
"
If I didn't know the ending of a story, I wouldn't begin. I always write my last lines, my last paragraph, my last page first, and then I go back and work towards it."
~Katherine Anne Porter
Start with a great final sentence, then begin the process of getting there. Go!

Annual Author Series presents
Beverly Coyle, September 21-22
WWf(a)C is pleased to welcome author and playwright Beverly Coyle for two very special author series events. Friday, September 21st, is a staged reading of her play, In Our Own Voice, followed by her comments on writing the play and discussion. In Our Own Voice shares the experiences of women veterans and those still serving in the armed forces, sourced through a series of interviews with these women. There is no charge for this event, which is open to those ages 18 and up. A reception will follow the program.
On Saturday afternoon, September 22nd, Beverly will facilitate a workshop, Listening Inspired Writing: Finding Hidden Treasure in the Stories of Others, that focuses on the art of listening and interviewing to fuel an author's work.
Friday, September 21 - 7:30-9:30 pm Staged Reading
Thanks to PSI, The Psychotherapy and Spirituality Institute, NYC,
