Greetings From Our Director

Dear Women Writing for (a) Change Community,

Happy New Year to each and every one of you! With our 25th anniversary year now behind us, we move into this new year with a variety of reflections and intentions.

I hope you share with me a sense of pride for all that Women Writing for (a) Change is and continues to be. Seven special events were created specifically for the 25th year in 2016, and every other program contributed to the festivities.  Thanks to all of you who participated in one or more of our celebrations, and immense gratitude to the many individuals who made those events come to life!

What's in my heart at this time is a deep sense of concern about our world.   Read more...

WWf(a)C Staff News

Heather Snyder
It is with great sadness and also deep gratitude that we say farewell to Heather Snyder. Heather has worked tirelessly in our office since April 2012, managing registrations, processing gifts, keeping all of us organized, and improving many of our processes and procedures.

We wish Heather every success and know that she will still be around to attend various classes and events.

We are very pleased to announce that Sally Schneider has now joined our office staff and will be fulfilling the roles and responsibilities that had been Heather's.

We are additionally delighted to announce that Mary Wood-Constable will continue her work with us as a consultant Development Director.  Since 2012, Mary has volunteered countless hours not only on the board, but also fulfilling the Development Director function as a volunteer.

Please join me in saying a fond farewell to Heather, and in welcoming  both Sally and Mary to the Women Writing for (a) Change office team!
