New Advisory Council Members

We extend a warm welcome to the newest members of the WWf(a)C Advisory Council,  Shelly McNamara and Ron Weitzenkorn.

Shelly McNamara is Vice-president of Human Resources at P&G, for Corporate Functions and Global Health & Grooming.  She is also a writer and storyteller--and a frequent presenter as an agent for change. Shelly participated in writing circles at WWf(a)C a number of years ago.

Ron Weitzenkorn is a senior tax manager at Johnson & Johnson, and a board member and volunteer for several non-profit organizations in Cincinnati. Ron loves to travel and is also a runner who has completed 26 full marathons, including all 19 Flying Pig marathons!

We are most grateful to Shelly and Ron for sharing their expertise with Women Writing for (a) Change!

Giving Voice:
Consider Your Legacy

Please remember Women Writing for (a) Change in your will, trust, or beneficiary designation. Your legacy will live on, encouraging creative self-expression through writing in community.

  February 9th & 10th - 7pm
Admission $20/night

Join with us as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the V-DAY organization and stand up against gender-based violence. Show your support for members of the WWf(a)C and Greater Cincinnati communities as they share words in verse, in prose and in song.

This year's V-DAY event will once again be presented in two evenings with two different series of readers. We hope that you'll join us for one or both of these remarkable performances.

Proceeds from this event will directly benefit programs, including writing circles, to help victims of domestic abuse in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Details and purchase tickets here.
