Meaningful Mondays

March 13, 7-8 pm

Changing it up this month! Four male poets from the WWf(a)C Co-Ed Class,  Dick Westheimer, Forrest "Woody" Brandt (with Darby Lyons), Johanni Strauss and Randy Weeks, will be reading their original works in the heated courtyard of Arnold's, downtown Cincinnati.

Arrive early, as Arnold's full menu and bar will be available for purchasing food and drink. Free event, but registration is strongly encouraged.

We are proud to let you know that WWf(a)C writer, Kim Dinan has published her debut memoir. The book chronicles Dinan and her husband's decision to uproot their lives and travel around the world.

Book Discussion Group
 
Our book discussion group meets on the first Sunday of each month and   follows WWf(a)C processes to offer an intentional circle using both writing and conversation to broaden and deepen our understanding of each chosen  book.  This is a FREE   offering for women.

Friday, April 7th - 7:30-9 pm - Free Reading
Saturday, April 8th - 1-4 pm - $50 Workshop

Join us as we welcome renowned poet Barbara Crooker for two very special events. On Friday evening, The Place These Words Are Coming From, Barbara will read from More, Gold, and Les Fauves and lead a discussion about poetry craft. Saturday afternoon she will facilitate a poetry writing workshop, Postcards From The Heart, discussing the importance of sensory imagery. For more information and to register, Click Here.

Enthusiasm for the 25th Anniversary Author Series has prompted more! Generous support has been provided to start an annual visiting author series, beginning with Barbara Crooker. This  gift allows the  Friday evening event to remain free of charge and open to the public. Many, many thanks!

I Am Kentucky: Poetry And Place

April 22, 1-3:30 pm

Women Writing for (a) Change is pleased to be a sponsor for the Kenton County Library's celebration of Kentucky Poetry. Held at the Covington branch, a uthors Crystal Wilkinson, Staci Schoenfeld, Nickole Brown, Jay McCoy, and K.
