ArtWorks Mural

We are delighted to announce that WWf(a)C, the Village of Silverton and ArtWorks are partnering to paint a mural on the south side of our building this summer. A committee of Silverton residents, council members, and WWf(a)C community members have been involved in the selection of an artist and proposed design. Our logo will still adorn the building -- it's not going away! We will keep you updated as soon as we know more.

Did You Know...?

...that Women Writing for (a) Change has been a Premier Program Partner with Girl Scouts of Western Ohio for several years?

This year our Girl Scout program is especially alive and well! We have served over 80 girls from Girl Scout troops in the Cincinnati/Dayton area for the 2017/2018 program to date! Each 2-hour program uses WWf(a)C practices and fulfills requirements for a badge.

This is what recent Girl Scouts have to say about our workshops:

I liked the diverse ideas and that everyone's story is different.

I liked the tranquility of this event because it allowed me to think.

I want to write another play!

I really liked working with girls from other troops. I loved writing my own screenplay.

At first I couldn't think of an idea, but then ideas just started flowing in.

I made friends and had so much fun!

Do you work with a local Girl Scout Troop? We offer the following programs: Brownies -- My Family Story; Juniors -- Scribe Badge; Cadettes -- Screenwriter Badge and Public Speaker Badge; Seniors -- Novelist Badge. We also offer customized writing workshops as well. All of our programs are listed in the online Scout Leaders Resource Guide "2017/18 Program Opportunities Book" published by Girls Scouts of Western Ohio.
