Writing Workshop: Changing Perspective -  $50 per person - REGISTER HERE
How do you decide whether to write in the first person or the third? How do you enter the point of view of someone from a different culture or time, or even just someone who saw the same events from a different angle? Through in-class exercises and discussion, we'll examine what happens when you change perspective. Open to all, ages 16 through adult.

Sponsorship of the Author Series made possible by Annette Januzzi Wick & Mark D. Manley, with gratitude for 25 years of Women Writing for (a) Change

Celebrate With Us!

What an incredible year we've had, celebrating 25 years of Women Writing for (a) Change! The many events and festivities culminate with the 25th Anniversary Party on October 29th, at the Columbia Center on Columbia Parkway in Cincinnati.

Please join us for an evening of fun, food, music, readings and an offering of appreciation to Women Writing for (a) Change founder Mary Pierce Brosmer, as we honor a quarter century for this wonderful organization.

An event raffle will feature several wonderful gift baskets, a private bourbon tasting for twelve and a fabulous first prize: a $1,325 gold and gemstone necklace donated by Heileman & Company. You need not be present to purchase raffle tickets or to win.
25th Anniversary Abundance Circle

On Saturday September 10th, twenty-two women gathered at Women Writing for (a) Change for the 25th Anniversary Abundance Circle. Not exactly sure what to expect, we were universally drawn by the idea of  abundance.

Lisa Hess facilitated the circle using a "small stone" theme based on Fiona Robyn's work in which a small stone is "...a little glimpse into the wonder of life through the portal of a single thing or scene studied carefully".   We were invited to move about the space in search of memories and magical moments of our time in this community, and then to write.

Our subsequent readaround was a collection of memory-snippets, small stones of noticing: a feeling, a poem, a quilt, a friend, special small groups, and so much more.

Food, laughter, and stories were shared afterwards. Gratitude to all!
