Greater Waco's Labor Force is Growing!

The seven-county region added 5,432 people to its labor force between May 2017 and May 2018.

McLennan County accounts for 70 percent of the region's labor force growth, adding 3,822 people.

McLennan County is outpacing both Texas and the US in growing its labor force.

Of Note: Swan Products, international manufacturer of lawn and garden watering products, has announced a 294,000 square foot expansion of its facility in Waco. The $14.3 million project includes $11.1 million in real property improvements and over $3 million in new production equipment. Approximately 60 new jobs will be created as a result of this expansion.

Of Note: LOOK Trailers, manufacturer of LOOK, Pace American and Cargo Express enclosed cargo trailers, has selected an 80,000 square foot industrial facility in McGregor for its newest manufacturing plant. LOOK will hire approximately 75 manufacturing positions by year end 2019.
