Lake Waconia Fireworks Festival
The 4th of July is three months away and we're planning for the Lake Waconia Fireworks Festival! The fireworks are completely funded by donations. Your financial support is much appreciated and allows for a spectacular show. The commitment cards are in and we’re working to continue to raise $13,000 for the 2022 show. Imagine a close friend or group of friends are visiting you from out of town; where in Waconia would you take them? How about if it’s another couple or family? If you’re in charge of planning the day or weekend, what kind of itinerary would you put together? Write it down. I asked this question to a group of Rotarians in a presentation last week, and received a wide array of responses with a multitude of things to do. Aaron Parsons grew up in his parent's Culver's restaurant in Eau Claire, WI so when he and his wife Jess decided to move back to her hometown of Waconia, they decided to purchase the Waconia Culver's and continue the family tradition. The Parsons' main focus is community involvement and hope to launce a reading program for children.

It's Fish Taco Friday!🐟 Join us TONIGHT for our Fish Taco Fridays, as our winemaker, Ben Banks, grills up his famous Fish Tacos and Battered Cod Sandwich. This fan favorite menu will be served every Friday after 4:00pm from March 4th - April 8th for dine-in only service. Reservations are highly recommended due to limited space. Our regular Bistro menu, including a cheeseboard, assorted flatbreads, and more, will also be available on Friday nights during the Lent season. Don't forget to make your reservation for our family friendly event, we fill up FAST!

Tickets for the April 7 Rotary Gourmet Wine Dinner at Bavaria Downs are on sale until March 30. Social Hour begins at 4:00PM with mingling, silent auction and presentation by Jim & Sandy Gilbert. A 5-course gourmet dinner, each paired with wine, will be served at 6:00PM followed by a live auction. Tickets are $150 per person. Proceeds benefit the Historic Andrew Peterson Farm in Waconia and Engineers without Borders.
